Called a "STORYpod", the piece will be a series of organic structures made of hand-woven branches entwined with personal messages, memories and stories about HIV/AIDs. A group of volunteers, passer-byes and the artists created about 11 pods from various branches and and woven red shoe laces. Each piece unique in their design and all very enchanting.
"The result of the final installation will be a living, growing testament of the collective strength and support of the community in the fight against HIV/AIDS."
If your in Portland come down tomorrow and send a message of hope.
