Yellena James Aquarium Exhibit

Yellena James intricate and organic pen & ink drawings are currently on display at the Grassy Knoll Gallery with original art and prints available through the online store.

The centerpiece of the exhibit is the Aquarium Multitouch App which allows gallery-goers to spawn new creatures that move around with limited intelligence, bring her artwork to life. In development, Aquarium is part generative art experiment, part biology lab. Through gestures, unique creatures are brought to life - each with DNA and varying degrees of intelligence that allows it to grow, breed, and even devour smaller creatures.
