Mt lovely old hand knitted Teddy has had a mention in a past blog post....I think he will join a big group of teddies and other raggedy soft toys for this weeks this is by tea cups on tree tops.He was my first toy, and is pictured on the hand knitted rug my Nana made for me as a little girl. It still keeps me warm every winter.
He likes hanging out with Sooty, my husbands first teddy, who needs plenty of TLC as he is very threadbare.And from my other grandma, this pretty bluebird of happiness brooch.
All I can say is its a miracle these things are still around. My mother liked to donate things to the op shop and I only have distant memories of other treasured possessions long gone.
