Flashback Friday

My Grandpa Bert was my last living grandparent. He was a lovely, good natured man, always ready with an encouraging word and a kiss for his grandchildren. I remember the fun we had on holidays at Port Arlington, how his shed was an Aladdin's cave of treasures for my sister and me- we'd fossick for hours , his forgetfulness, his "hard to listen to" organ playing, and his charming demeanour. He outlived three wives. Thanks for the fond memories Bert.
