I'm working on a new infographic and I cam across one from Portugal designer Rodrigo Machado. I love his interpretation of the movie Adaptation. I just watched this show a few days ago and I could see how an infographic would work perfectly for depicting the storyline and character personalities.
Rodrigo's infographic is beautifully executed and very thought out...check out those notes!

I love these moving paper calendars created by Pattern Maters. Such a clever and beautiful way to showcase pattern, craft and function.  When visiting the site, each calendar is animated to demonstrate their form. There is a calendar for every month plus other projects as well. So lovely.
"Pattern Maters is a graphic design-based project inquiring on possible ways to augment the role of pattern by looking into the design process and tactile exploration through pattern making. It demonstrates the way of how this design element of pattern can be adopted differently on various platforms in graphic design. The main objective of this project is to inspire designers to look at pattern in every possible angles. Pattern Matters also aims to demonstrate that pattern is a crucial form of design element in graphic design which eventually evident that pattern is not merely a decorating tool."

Wonderful infographic!

I am just enamored with info graphics these days and was thrilled to find the work of freelance designer Paul Butt of Section Design.

I love the seriers of 6 A2 posters he created for his thesis work.  Each poster shows a different aspect of technologies we rely on today with the final poster linking them together.

He also has a wonderful self promotional piece inspired by, well himself.  His new work, Meet ipads competition is awesome too!

See more of his work here and here.
